PublicationsWeather and SurfTide InformationTide tables can be purchased from many local fishing shops. Many regular members will have copies of these, so please ask. Graham B has a PC program that will calculate the tides for various locations throughout Europe - so if you require tide information please shout. River AccessCanewsThis is the club's periodic news letter - generally distributed every 3 months - but this depends on the number of contributions. Canews relies on members contributions - which can include anything from trip reports, canoeing tips and information through to 'for sales', recipes, cartoons or anything else! Some trip reports are reproduced here. EventsThe club generally manages to organise two events a month (in addition to the regular Mudeford paddles) - these include weekend & single-day trips. We try to ensure that there is a good mix of varied trips throughout the year to cater for a variety of paddles (placid water/ whitewater/sea/surf) and non-paddling social activities. The calendar is discussed at quarterly Committee Meetings (which are informal gatherings where everyone is welcome) and distributed via Canews. WildlifeThe Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust has joined forces with the South Coast Seal Project and Dorset Marine Mammal Research Programme to gather information on marine mammals If you spot any marine mammals (Seals, Dolphins, Whales, etc) while paddling our local coast Please let them know (Click the logo) The most important details are date, time and location of your sighting. Any extra information including sketches, photos or video footage would be extremely useful
